WaterGuard is a specialy engineered piping system designed to sit on top of the footer to that it can never clog from dirt or silt washing into it.
WaterGuard is designed to go around the perimeter of the basement in a rebate 6″ wide and 4″ deep so there is a lot less digging than is required for an ond fashion drain-tile system which sits down in the dirt.
WaterGuard has a specially designed flange which sits against the foundation wall, just proud of the floor, which allows any water running down the inside face on the foundation wall to enter the sub-floor Waterguard channel, thus preventing flooding of the floor.
The box secion of the channel is 3″ wide and 1.75 inches deep. The flange makes it it 3.5″ wide x 4.25″ high inched overall.
A 30ft box of WaterGuard channel includes 8 x 3’9″ lengths. For full installation instructions see our installation guide.
